Love your tea!
Nice bold taste, with a smoky notes and fruity undertone. Leaves are pretty big size, no dust or even very small broken pieces. I would recommend this tea to everyone who loves a good cup of black tea (like Assam or mix in English Breakfast, etc). And it's nicely packaged, too, it's in the elegant tin (you can use it for other teas, which don't have such a good packaging) and a foil bag for preserving freshness and aroma. Price is very reasonable for such a high quality.
This brand has become my absolute favorite tea by far. I got the sampler to help me decide what to order next from them in loose-leaf form. Pyramid bags give the long-leaf plenty of room, and it also shows you what they intend as a measure for one cup. (I tend to use too much tea when making loose-leaf.) The freshness is beyond compare, and it makes such a difference in flavor — all natural flavors, BTW, from the actual ingredients (rather than added “essences”). Just stunningly good tea every time. The cinnamon/cardamom black tea is my favorite so far, but the Assam and Darjeeling can’t be beat.
I've been a happy Twinings drinker for 3 decades, but I'm Vahdam from here on out! I bought this sampler to try a few of their black teas because Twinings has few loose-leaf teas available in bulk. The Maharaji Breakfast, High Mountain Oolong and Exotic Oolong are stupendous! I ordered the High Mountain and English Breakfast (the Maharaji under a different name, I believe) in bulk the same night. The flavors are subtle and complex, and I like supporting this company. Give them a try.
Great variety pack. I enjoyed them all so far. Still working on a few but very good flavors.
I added this sampler to an order for chai tea. These are equally delicious. A bit milder than the green teas I get from Smith Teas, but I enjoy the flavors.
