    What is the shelf life of products?

    This Vahdam Tea has a shelf-life of 2 years from the Date of Picking/Harvest. The 'Date of Expiry' are mentioned on the bottom of all our boxes.

    Where are your Teas from?

    We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

    How are the Teas packaged?

    After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

    Exactly what I was looking for.

    Too often, I find mint green tea blends to consist of A LOT of sub-par green tea leaves and a teensy little splash of minty flavored something-or-other. This is NOT like those teas.

    As soon as I opened the bag I could see I had received quality, long leaf green tea and an abundance of real, dried mint leaves. The mint scent was intense, exactly how I like it. I brewed almost according to directions - although I do always use extra tea since I like mine strong. This green tea turned out to be exactly what I was looking for: equal parts noticeably strong mint and mellow, grassy green tea that tastes delicious hot... and I think it will be the perfect iced tea as well so I’ll be trying that next.

    If you like your mint to take a backseat in your flavored teas, this one probably isn’t for you. But if, like me, you’ve been disappointed by how non-minty most mint green teas are, check out Mint Melody. You won’t regret it.

    I could barely detect the green tea and found the spearmint to be overbearing. I'll be sticking with the quite wonderful Citrus Ginger Herbal tea.

    Spot on what I was looking for

    My husband and I recently had dinner at a Moroccan restaurant and the sweet mint tea that was served set me out on a hunt to find something similar to serve up at home. I found it here at Vahdam Teas ( it is so good!) and so the search is officially over! Excellent.
