    Know your Tea better

    What is the shelf life of products?

    All Vahdam Teas have a shelf-life of 3 years from the Date of Picking/Harvest. The 'Date of Expiry' are mentioned on the bottom of all our boxes.

    Where are your Teas from?

    We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

    How are the Teas packaged?

    After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

    The most delicious thing I've ever tasted

    The title says it all—Vahdam has introduced me to the most wonderful teas, and I can never imagine going back to what I was drinking before. This tea is a particularly good one for my tastes. Thank you, Vahdam, for bringing such fine teas to consumers!

    Strong, but light. Naturally sweet, needs no sweetener, a clean strong tea that isnt bitter or overpowering. Very good. Nice balance. This is what tea is supposed to be.

    It tastes more like black tea, not like the oolong tea that I know

    The leaves are short, dark, and curly. I expected long, flat, and green leaves. The box says to brew for 4-5 minutes, which everyone knows oolong takes just 60-90 seconds. If I brew it for 90 seconds, then it tastes like oolong with a black tea aftertaste. If I brew it for 4-5 minutes, it then tastes like plain black tea. I am disappointed.

    Vahdam High Mountain Darjeeling Oolong Tea taste is mild and aromatic.

    I had a tea from Taiwan that I love, but it is not available in the United States. The Vahdam High Mountain Darjeeling Oolong Tea is what I have been searching for. It is aromatic, hints of fruit and no bitter after taste.
