    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is the shelf life of products?

    All Vahdam Teas have a shelf-life of 3 years from the Date of Picking/Harvest. The 'Date of Expiry' are mentioned on the bottom of all our boxes.

    Where are your Teas from?

    We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

    How are the Teas packaged?

    After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

    In how many days can the product be delivered?

    The product will reach the customer within 3-5 days after placing the order.

    How and where are the ingredients sourced from?

    All our premium blends are made of a variety of garden-fresh, superior quality ingredients sourced from their place of origin. We procure all our teas, herbs, spices, and botanicals in their respective prime-harvest seasons, which differ according to the plantation, place of origin, season etc. Procuring these ingredients during their prime harvest periods means that we get the best quality which have an enhanced flavor, character, and freshness.

    Do you need a certain pot for these teas? Do you sell them?

    You can brew tea in anything that can hold boiling water, but understand that this is loose leaf and it will be loose in the infusion.

    Great tea!

    Very well packed. Initially when I opened the package, I was disappointed that there was little fragrance. But with the first cup I knew this was some great tea! I drink it with a small piece of orange rind and some good honey. Real nice. I can get 2 large cups out of it, but the second one is not as concentrated. Still real nice tea.
