    What are Herbal Teas?

    Herbal teas are caffeine-free teas that contain no tea, but are made as a mix of a variety of botanicals like herbs, spices and florals. Herbal teas are great for those who want to cut down on caffeine, are low-calorie, great for strengthening your immunity, improving metabolism, boosting digestion and can have functional benefits as well. They are also referred to as Tisanes.

    What are the health benefits of Herbal Teas?

    Herbal teas have a plethora of health benefits, depending on the ingredients in the tisane. For example, Turmeric Teas are great for immunity ; Ginger Teas are great for treating digestion woes ; Mint Teas are great for energizing and alleviating symptoms of anxiety etc. Herbal teas have a lot of functional benefits are generally great for wrapping up a hectic day, promoting calm, improving sleep, efficient detox and stress management. 

    How are your products packed?

    After sourcing our ingredients directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. They then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. The blends made, pass through a final 10+ quality check points for quality and safety. They are then vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminium-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the blend maintains its character. Upon receiving a consumer's order, we further pack the required quantity of the product in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes or tin cans and then sent over to our own delivery centres located in various parts of the world.

    What are the benefits of Pyramid-shaped Tea bags?

    Our Pyramid-shaped Nylon Tea bags make for a large, sturdy tea bags which doesn't tear up easily and brews a large cup. The pyramid shape allows more room for the tea leaves to unfurl, offering a rich and flavorful cup of tea, as against low-grade tea dust used by many orthodox brands. Our tea bags are heat-sealed and high-density enveloped.

    What is the shelf life of products?

    All Vahdam Teas have a shelf-life of 3 years from the Date of Picking/Harvest. The 'Date of Expiry' are mentioned on the bottom of all our boxes.

    Where are your Teas from?

    We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

    This is a really good buy, you can put hot or cold drinks in this mug. When you put hot coffee it stays hot for much longer and the outside of the mug does not get warm. And when you put cold drinks in the mug it stays cold for much longer and there is no condensation. so highly recommend this mug, I love it!
