    Appearance - Shiny green, well-twisted leaves and buds, with one or two black leaves, decorated with copious silver tips
    Aroma - Pronounced grassy and vegetal aroma, with discernible wafts of floral sweetness like blooming lilies, and hints of wood
    Taste - Extremely smooth, delicate and floral cup, with a light-body and an enveloping floral sweetness of orchids and peonies, and distinct notes of juicy tangerine and sweet lime all through

    First Flush is the first harvest of the season. In Darjeeling, the First Flush teas are harvested with the onset of Spring around the first week of March.

    Yes! All 100% pure Darjeeling teas come with the Tea Board of India's DARJEELING TEA logo. This logo is allowed only for 100% genuine and authentic Darjeeling teas and is a guarantee that you are buying certified Darjeeling tea.

    How are the teas packaged?

    After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors, etc., these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

    Amazing Taste and Aroma!

    I was looking for a good black tea (for daily/office use) and have tried various teas before. Teabox is good but is overpriced so I dont use it for general / daily tea brewing, and I tried some brands before but was not satisfied (I bought Assamica Agro but it had a strong burnt wood taste, ForestPick had the same problem). I read the reviews here and thought of giving Vahdam a try and I must say I am impressed at the quality. The taste is excellent, aroma is beautiful. I use this for my office where a lot of people drink tea so it doesnt hurt the pocket that much as well. Overall a good buy at a good price!!!
